Through this letter, selection committee in the admission board can understand
applicant's commitment and interests to the higher study. The quality of
the letter attests one's character, goals and ambitions. Basically, this letter
signifies why you would be a good fit for your intended degree and the
university you are applying to. Therefore, one should give proper time and
attention to write a motivation letter before applying for higher education in
an international university.
In
this blog, I have given an overview of a good motivation letter for academic
purpose. I have been using this format for time being and have been successful
to get admission for higher study in abroad including securing national and
international scholarship. However, it’s not the rule of thumb which means it
can be modified according to one's need and purpose and the course applying to.
